Senior Associate

Sarah CHEN is a senior associate for Eiger who focuses on corporate law, investments, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and financial affairs, catering to both local and international clients. Additionally, Sarah manages the intricacies of local entity establishment, regulatory compliance, employment, and taxation issues for foreign clients.

In the area of data protection, Sarah was instrumental in guiding a major luxury retail group through a potential data leak crisis, employing her expertise to mitigate risks, assist in after-crisis communication and ensure legal compliance. Additionally, she has provided counsel to an American hardware technology group operating in Taiwan, offering strategic advice on navigating local data protection laws and ensuring compliance. 

Sarah manages several energy-related matters for both local and international clients, including energy contracts with one of Taiwan’s leading power companies. Sarah also provides legal guidance on tax issues for foreign energy companies doing business in Taiwan.

She is an accomplished speaker who regularly presents to both local and international audiences on topics including energy law and data privacy.
