Eiger Marcus Clinch Joined ECCT Open Door Mission

Marcus Clinch joined the European Chamber of Commerce in Taipei’s 13 December to 15 December 2010 Open Door Mission to Brussels. The delegation from the ECCT met with officials at the European Commission as well as with Taiwan’s Representative Office to the EU and to Belgium to promote and highlight trade between Taiwan and the EU as well as to discuss issues of interest and concern. Marcus, Chairman of the ECCT’s Beverage Alcohol Committee, also took time to meet with representatives from the Council of European Spirit Producers and the Scotch Whisky Association to discuss recent developments in the Taiwanese market and proposed changes to the regulatory regime.
